Not the real. For role-playing purposes only

Nov. 22nd, 2011 06:39 pm Oh the joy of being a grandmother.....NOT!

My son is engaged to a young woman with the cutest little four year old girl who is a freaking TERROR!  The child is spoiled beyond belief.  I should have known something was up when I came home on saturday and she ran over to give me a hug.  She usually just says hi grandma and starts running around and chattering but noooo she wanted hold my hand and just be all over me.  The little wench has a cold.  Guess who she's sharing it with?  Do you know how lethally contagious kid germs are?  She's probably getting a big kick out of knowing that she made grandma sick.  And people wonder why some animals eat their young. -___-

Well...yeah. And just think how much fun it will be, training this kid to be your perfect cookie-making helper, and doing cute stuff with her, and once you bond with her a bit, she will accept your boundaries and will obey you better than she obeys her mom. Poor kid, her mom doesn't know how to parent her. That's a skill in itself...

The germs are tough. Sorry 'bout that. I had a flu shot this year :-)

Oh she already obeys me better then mom. I can get her to behave with just a well issued order. My daughter says it's something to do with the timber of my voice. I don't yell at her. I just tell her what I want her to do and she does it. Bribery helps also. I give her stickers if she behaves and I found out she likes Blues Clues so I'll let her watch a couple of episodes if she's good.

I had a flu shot also but this kids germs just laughed at that.
